Default Are you clean?

If permitted, can we discuss peoples thoughts on (our product) bidets and add-on bidet systems?

Regards

Pilfo

With a really straight face and serious mien, what would you like to talk about in relation to said devices?

From my own point of view, I cannot see the purpose of bidets. I know that they aren't very popular in the UK (hence my own view, I suppose), though in continental Europe they are much more so.

<It should be interesting to see how many nanoseconds this thread can remain sensible - Please. If you are going to contribute keep it sensible and go to the 'Puns' thread if you can't control yourselves.

Let's just see if ONE thread can stay sensible given the subject material involved...>

I'm trying to conduct some market research on our company's latest product, but if you also want to have a laugh...that's fine.

But what kind of MR?

Is there a questionnaire? What questions do you want answering?

In relation to the the product itself and its features and benefits etc., as outlined on the website www.bidet-loo.co.uk would you purchase/use such a system.

Personally, no I wouldn't buy one.

Like I said, in the UK bidets have never really been in common usage so the obstacle here would be getting people to use them.

My experiences with bidets are confined to 5 minutes of playing with them whenever I first go to my room in a European hotel, or idly playing with them when I'm using the other thing next to it (see how high you can make the water go) :)

Having said that, personal hygiene is very important to me but in the UK it just doesn't involve bidets.

Incidentally, the last hotel I stayed in that had them was in Italy (near Chamonix). It was a really old 16th century place. The best use we found for the bidets was turning them on full when someone was in the shower in the next room :)

Well as I've spent most of my life in th UK I'm in the never owned a bidet group. I must admit when in hotels on the continent I tend to use the usually seperate bidet more as a foot bath than as an alternative to paper wipping.

Would I buy one, NO. Would I use one of your combined units if I was in a house with one, probably yes, but I have to admit I have never really worked out what you are supposed to 'dry' with after using one, paper or towel? Perhaps one day if I suffer from some of the ailments you say they are good for I would revist the question, but until then I guess I'm just a 3-ply kind a guy :)

About the only time I have seen them is in the movies. I had to goto the website to even know what you were talking about.

I guess that shows how much use there is in the states.
