My website is growing everyday as I watch the monthly Alexa go lower. I am tired of Google's low paying PPC advertising, and want to demand more, but it is important that if I receive direct sales, it works well for both of us. I have started working with various keyword software on educational phrases, to make sure the search engines enjoy my new site. I need more ideas, and would appreciate any assistance knowledge in this area. I also do not have the cash to compete for the most popular keywords for driving more traffic to my site need to find the secret keyword combination.

Maybe you should look for some appropriate affiliate programs to work with? If you have some traffic already then this could be a profitable move.

Have you done some market research around keywords and the average cost per click that they generate using say googles adsense toolkit. That way you might easily adapt your website so that it attracts the highest ranking ppc adverts to your site.
I have a site that attracts ppc adverts that often pay up to $4 to $5 per click. The value per click will depend on the value of sales that can be achieved from users who click through and the advertiser's willingness to pay for traffic. |

@webmarlin - Is it only about the keywords? I have two real estate sites, on the one I average $0.14 (which I think is crap for real estate site) and on the other I get on average $0.70 per click . This has been going on for months now. The biggest joke is that the one that gets the $0.14 is the one that gets 16,000 visits per month and the one that get the $0.70 is the one that barely gets 2,000 visits per month. They do not have the same content but both are real estate related.
