Default good advertisers - where?

Hello Again,

Where are all the good advertisers at??? It seems that Google Adsense works best based on pay per click, but I keep signing up to affiliate directories
like click bank, reg now, pepperjam, link share, sharasale, etc. and all of these supposedly give me great deals with advertisers, but I don't think so.
Has anyone had any luck with these affiliate membership directories and what advertisers really pay? I need money to pay my mortgage payment and I need now…

D

There is no quick way to make money in affiliate marketing it takes time to build up a site's traffic and affiliate marketing is really a numbers game.

Most (but not all) affiliate sites work on a pay at point of sale basis using a tracking cookie to recognise your contribution.

CONSIDER THIS
  • Every day 10,000 visitors to your site and 100 will click through to an advertiser
  • For every 100 customers visiting the affiliate site 1 will make a purchase
  • The customer who make a purchase buys a $200 product
  • You get 5% and make $10 or $3650 per year
  • If you only get 1,000 visitors per day you will only make $365 per year and if you only get 100 per day you will earn $36 per year
So to make money you need to have high traffic. It is no good blaming the affilate programme if you do not make money because they will only pay you on results.

Most of them will provide up to date information on the average payment per 100 clicks the ppc value. There is no reason to believe that they are falsifying the information.

Have you analysed your site's traffic on google's analytics for traffic for keywords etc. Do the visitors' aspirations about what they will find on your site match the affiliate programmes that you are offering.

IF you have traffic, then a question of "what to promote" is not really a problem.

DO YOU have traffic? What niche? Maybe we could get you some high payout offers

Before you go stick an affiliate program on your site go and look what their landing page looks like. If a web site's landing page is crap I do not waste my time putting it on my site. I also find the "per lead" campaigns work better for me, that is stuff where I can get paid even though the referred client did not spend money. IE just signed up or enrolled for free course.

Google Adsense is based on Pay-per-click where as the other affiliate program networks are based on pay per commission. You need to check the popularity of them before joining.
