Hi,
I own many web sites and am making good money with Google AdSense. I like to add more money making affiliate programs. Is there any other PPC programs that pay half as good as Google AdSense does? I have web sites with SearchFeed.com also, but the pay is low per click. Any help will be appreciated. http://www.WallStreet.us/

Hi gobuy,
I know there are search affiliate programs out there but I don't have any direct feedback on any of them. Have you considered joining regular product or lead based affiliate programs that target the various visitors you get on different sites?

Hi Catalyst,
Yes I am considering joining regular product or lead based affiliate programs. I like to know more on them and which ones are the best as I build my own web sites my time to find which one are better then the others is limited. I like to build small directories with many catagories. Thank you Catalyst for any help you can give me.

Well that's a tough one. I could give you about 100 answers. But here's a few ideas since I am short on typing time right now.
1) Search for programs that match your site content. 2) CJ, Refer-it, associateprograms.com and my 5 Star site beolow are good places to check. 3) Then go to AbestWeb and do some research to see if any of the programs have either GOOD reputations or possibly bad ones. Be sure any you partner with are parasite-free. You sort of need to dig around the parasiteware forum over at Abestweb to research. 4) Once you have the programs picked out, then use text links as they typically convert better than banners. Hope Cedric or someone else will come over and give you some other ideas too.

Linda,
Thank you for your response and your time. I will start by looking at your web site this weekend and put as much time as I can to find the best affiliates. Thank you again, Henry

I am sorry but let's stick to the topic and not start unrelated "join my program" posts. The original question was about other PPC affiliate programs or search programs. Thanks from Catalyst |

Hi Catalyst,
I'm a little confused? You have canceled mine and lighthousefiber's posts with the comment: "Topic deleted by Moderator: I am sorry but let's stick to the topic and not start unrelated "join my program" posts. The original question was about other PPC affiliate programs or search programs. Thanks from Catalyst" However if I'm not mistaken the subject title of this post is: "best paying affiliate programs" and furthermore in your own post dated Thu Apr 01, 2004 7:57 pm am I wrong in thinking that you promote your own affiliate program (5 star)? 2) CJ, Refer-it, associateprograms.com and my 5 Star site below are good places to check. I am new to the forum and wish to contribute to debates/questions rather than just plug my company, hence I will tread carefully here, howver I would appreciate if you could let me know the difference between what we did and the information you have offered? Many thanks, Anthony |

I am sorry, I have gotten numerous compaints recently about too many people crossing the line between informational posts and long advertising type "join my program type of posts." Some of you have done it multiple times.
It's appropriate to have one announcement of your program and advertise it in your sig line. But when the whole post is about here are all the reasons my program is great, it does cross the line. I do apologize for reacting to the sudden onslaught of too many self promo posts. In re-reading this one I realize he started off asking about PPC programs and then it evolved into general programs too. If there would have been general informative info and a small mention of "you may want to review the one in my sig" - I would have let it slide. But they were purely ads IMHO. All I said was 4 words "my 5 star site below" and it's a directory and reviews of several programs along with lots of articles and resources. Sorry if it seemed self promotional - I was trying to be helpful, But I won't do it again ;-)

Catalyst,
Thanks for the response and I do appreciate that the thread could have become long and full of us merely promoting our own programs. The job of moderator can be tough at times and decisions generally need to be made on the spot - rather you than me! I look forward to further discussions/debates in the future and will also try (as best as possible) to stick to the subject at hand :o) Have a good week, Anthony |

rybo,
Thanks so much for understanding. I HATE editing posts and having to moderate things. So many times the regular members slightly cross the line and I would like to let them slide. But then others who are pure spammers see it and think they can get away with blatant spam. Then it gets out of conrol and there is no good info because the helpful people leave because they can't wade through all the spam. Then the whole forum goes south. Thanks for not taking it personally and understanding we are trying to keep this a helpful and positive place for all to share and grow.

Hi GoBuy,
I'm not too sure how they pay compared to Google AdSense, but you may also want to consider the partner programs that Enhance.com, Kanoodle.com, Overture.com, and Mirago.com offer to their advertisers. You may also want to check some of the affiliate program directories to see what companies are out there paying on a pay per click basis. I think ClickBank.com might offer pay per click program. Let me know how your search goes. Sometimes our affiliates as me as well for suggestions and I'd love to know what your experience has been and which new program you choose to pursue. Good luck in your search.
