Yes, it is affiliate marketing. You don't have the product with you. Infact you are sending the visitor to the merchant site. That's what Affiliate Marketing is....

Would like to tell you about an affiliate program which offers 7% commission on every confirmed sales'. Its a program offered by Norfolkline, a high speed cross channel car ferry operator. Almost 2 million people travelled with Norfolkline in 2006 and their conversion rates for affiliates is quite high. More information on the affiliation can be found at norfolkline.com/EN/Affiliates/. We are the digital agency who look after Norfolkline Affiliate program and let me know if you are interested in joining the affiliate program. Please let me know if you are interested and I can call to discuss.

Warm regards Kiran

Yeah, it is aff marketing.

You drive traffic to the site and then you earn the commissions.

You need to insert tracking code to your landing page, or you can't get the commissions.

I cant believe the answers to this thread, YOU (or your site) are an AFFILIATE of the main company, any marketing you do to get traffic to your their site through your's is affiliate marketing. you basically answered it in your own question

yes its 100% affiliate marketing because the product which you are promoting on your site is not owned by you and you are earning just the commission of each sales you give to them....
You can get more success by using the Ebay&Amazon affiliates. You can contact me to get more details how to use both in one site!!!

do a google search on affiliate marketing and do some research - if you are not able to do that basic thing, then affiliate marketing is not for you.

It is hard work, requires skill and commitment.

99% of current affiliates in the marketplace make little or no money because they remain uneducated and expect a few banners placed about the place to result in something.
