There is no better time to own a Home Business
and get involved with Affiliate Marketing than now. I work for the Airlines and if you have been watching or reading the news lately, jet fuel prices are going through the roof. With the price of oil per barrel at about $144 and oil predicted to rise to $250 a barrel, Airlines are hurting and the employees are going to pay the ultimate price of job losses. The company I work for announced a total of 2275 job cuts coming soon and there is no end in sight. By starting a Home Business, the only drawback is the "time" factor. As long as there are those splash pages out there that will offer you "the world" in a month, people are going to sign up and be dissappointed. It will take some research and trials to find the right company or programs for an individual and if they are willing to establish some long-term goals and work their "plan", they will succeed and make some decent money. Program-hopping is not the answer Gord |

Agree with you, home based business needs time to grow just like any other business.
You need to put in contant effort to see the business grow. A lot of marketing scams out there that claims making money within mintutes are scaring people who are really interested into starting a work from home job. In times like this, having a job is no longer enough, we need to find multiple sources of income to ensure income stability in case of unfortunate events. JTYS |

Hey JTYS,
Seems like we have the same frame of mind when it comes to building a business online. It certainly is an uphill battle when competing with scams that seem to enroll a lot of people by hyped-up false promises. I feel like I have two strikes against me in a struggle to get people to trust me enough to join one of my programs as an Affiliate Marketer. There are a lot of honest companies that are out there and have been around for years but they are being tarred with the one brush. Onward...the struggle continues...over time I'll succeed because eventually business seekers find the companies and programs that do "work". Gord |
