Default Comission Junction: Reactivation page.

  1. I have not cashed the last to cheques from Comission Junction.
  2. And I have not been active in their network for a while, since I have prioriticed learning and developing my sites.
  3. When I try to log in today, I get the message:

Our records indicate that your account has been deactivated.
To try again please go back to the login

I try another time, but get the same message.

So I try the FAQ page.

How do I reactivate my publisher account?

"If your publisher account was deactivated within the last six months, you may elect to reactivate your account. If your account has been deactivated and you attempt to log in, you will be directed to a page that will inform you that your account is no longer active. This page has a link to the publisher reactivation page".

But it does not have such a link or I do not find it on a minimalistic page with a few dropdowns.

But the Ad banners are showing on my site.

Anybody that has experienced the same and can tell the soulution to the problem?

I know this is not direct answer to your question but I cannot resist bashing CJ, the company who had all the chances to became a synonym for affiliate marketing, but their practices made just another greedy one out of them.
Instead, just a reminder: Former Performics (DoubleClick) is since 30 June officially called Google Affiliate Network.
It finally happened; There are reasonably high expectations that even the publishers will be fairly treated.
Expect all the major players moving there soon.

I don't agree. And I have lived long enough and experienced enough that it is often an advantage to diversify.

Why do nobody answer this

Announcing Google Affiliate Network

and post #152 of this

The $3000 per month Google Adsense Project...

thread. May be I have been to fast, but I am confused:
  1. I have earned little less than USD 100 on Google AdSense. What will happen with that money?
  2. Do I need to change / delete code on all my sites and pages?
  3. A professional company should be more clear on this. You can say the same about Comission Junction, since they deactivated my account (without sending an email that I have noticed that they would do so if I did not become more active). I tried to log in to my LinksHare network today without any problem. And I have not had such problems with TradeDoubler either.
May be I am paranoid, but I share the Opera Principle:

Don't trust anybody on the internet

(at least until the opposite has been proed). I have cashed cheques from LinkShare and Commision Junction, but not from Google

Google Adsense and G Affiliate Network are two different animals that can be run simultaneously
With Adsense you're selling ads on your sites and you don't care about conversions (ok it makes your epc higher), while as an affiliate you earn commission from sold merchandise, services or actions performed (as you do it with CJ).
You don't have to worry about your Adsense money and codes.

Not according to the email I got and explained in greater detail in this Announcing Google Affiliate Network thread.

Excuse me if I am wrong.

OK.

You are correct and I have written my response in the thread cited in my post above.

You may also have an answer to this.

1. Google Affiliate Network / Double Click / Performics / Commision Junction are that (part of) the same animal?

Same site design as Commission Junction.

Search Engine Marketing and Affiliate Marketing Strategies - DoubleClick Performics

Commission Junction - A Global Leader in Affiliate Marketing, Online Advertising and Search Engine Marketing

2. Google Affiliate Network:

As part of the integration of DoubleClick, the DoubleClick Performics Affiliate Network will now operate as the Google Affiliate Network for advertisers targeting users located in the United States.

Does that imply that that network is not open to foreigners yet or only to those targeting users in the USA?

Not exactly in the way you put it.

Google Affiliate Network / Double Click / Performics / > is one company now.

Commission Junction > another company

Both operate in the more or less same way (also Amazon, LinkShare,SAS, etc), allowing affiliates to earn comission on sales or actions.

I am sure that Google will put much stronger requirements for both advertisers and publishers than existing affiliate networks and that screwing of publishers from both advertisers and networks is finally over. The same for advertisers regarding fraudulent publishers (fake filled-in forms, etc.).
Expect timely and fair payments among the other things.

It is open to everyone targeting the US market only. You as a Norwegian can "sell" advertisers' merchandise to users in the USA. For now.

Many thanks for the good will, but rep points don't mean a lot to me. Save it for the nicer vacation.
Instead I'll use some of your and other members' knowledge and experience. Good thing, those forums.

OK.

Best of all, as a member of the Performics network, I am already a member of the network. No need to get approval.
