Question Looking for feedback on New PayPerPlay advertising

I was wondering if anyone has heard of the new Pay Per Play that came out? You get paid for 100% of your traffic to your site. It's free to sign up. It is so new that no one has made any money on it yet. But it is just about to fully launch.

I was just thinking that there is probably many different thoughts about it and I would be interested in hearing some of yours.

You can find out more about it here. http://www.advertisetotheworld.com

Let me know what you think, good or bad.

thanks.

Not new actually. I had signed up about three months ago but getting nothing from them yet.

Videos are great but I'm not sure about conversions because people just love to watch videos without buying anything. Reportedly YouTube is not making much because generally its visitors are not looking for anything to buy - just to watch silly stuffs. I do enjoy the videos featuring Nora, the piano playing cat.

Actually this isn't video it is strictly audio, and it plays everytime someone visits your site, so you get paid everytime someone visits your site. Well, something like that.

Surprised knowone is talking about it here. Unless they are in another thread?

Sure took a long time for someone to post anything.

thanks for your feed back though.

Tony-V,

I'm sure to get a whacking by saying that it a bit slow here compared to another popular forum where I'm a senior.

I'm not sure it is strictly audio since I had read some articles about audio-video combination because purely audio is not going to be a hit because many turn off their pc speaker because they don't like marketers to shout at them by playing automatic audio files promoting their products.

I'm sure you had seen videos being played automatically attracting a bit (or more with female faces) of your attention.

Hi Tony,

I started a thread on this a while back Pay per play (audio) advertising.

Could work for those that are simply interested in making money out of their blog/site and not bothered about building repeat customers.

Thanks thindenim, I will check it out.

1stgirl.com
nope have not seen the video part of the payperplay.. as far as I have been told it is strictly audio ads. In fact I have access to the code, and not one bit of it has anything to do with video. Unless I am missing something? Not sure I am though as I have been following along closely.

since you say have been a member for some time now, can you please tell me how I go about adding the video ads to my site? where is the code for it?

thanks.

Tony_V ,

I wrote that I had signed up "but getting nothing from them yet."

They are going to introduce videos because audios alone won't be successful.

On 17-03-2008 Pay Per Play emailed me the following:

As you know the middle of March has arrived and me and the team
at NetAudioAds have been working feverishly to get everything
in line for the opening of our network to millions of ad plays
per day.

Ads are already running and will ramp up more and more as the
days of this week progress. We will also be launching the
Key 2 Page advertisements for running ads on the PPP network.

Our network is "coming alive" ... Finally!

We need your opinion on the introduction video for selling
audio ads. A handsome commission structure has been set in stone
and we are ready to start the campaign.

A poll has been created to get your opinion on the videos (one
done in a male voice, the other female)

Cast your vote for your favorite now:

Thank you,

Charles Heflin
Marketing Director

thats not video ads that will play on your site... they wanted you to pick between two video ads they created to use for advertising campaign of payperplay that they will be advertising on their website or else where.
has nothing to do with you or me running video ads on our site.
payperplay is strictly audio ads, and yes audios alone will actually do quite well considering most people have newer computers with speakers on.

1stgirl.com

in fact it says

"introduction video for selling audio ads." < this is advertising to an advertiser to get them to sign up to do their own audio advertising.

Tony_V,

I may be confused but I'm sticking to my view that audios alone won't be effective. I'm sure those fellows
at PPP are watching this thread closely. Possibly not since not an interesting subject here unlike at the other
popular forum where it is a hot subject and my posts get buried easily within seconds.
