Default Affiliate. Should I start one?

Hello I run a few sites and as of right now my main downfall is my link popularity. I work on this issue everyday but getting and keeping links is hard to say the least. So I got thinking what and how do the "big boys" do it? No where do I see a links page on any large site. Most of them are part of commission junction or link share. I have contacted both of these and neither of them want my money due to my low link popularity. Commission junction also stated in a return email “affiliate marking does not help or hurt web rankings".... So I have to ask what way should I go? My thinking is if I get 600 links on my links page would that not make me a link farm in Google eyes? And would not affiliate links count as 'one way links' and help in my link popularity?

Google adwords is costing me an arm and a leg every month. Although they do help, I would rather pay a commission then pay them.

Confused

Outgoing links won't help you, you need incoming links from related sites. What you need to do is write articles, and put them on free articles sites.

Go to my articles page here The Creative Cauldron - Articles and check out "Free Articles Sites, A Win-Win Proposition."

Have Fun,
Jeff

You can creat your own links with a power system I have stumbled upon -

It's called IpowerDirect nad they offer an entire marketing platform that includes "CreateSalesPage" ... you can use this tool to crate unlimited sales pages that get excellent google responses and cross promotion for your primary sites.

It's the best kept secret and the basis for my learning, promotion and success-

Hope this helps- Find Free ebooks And ebook Downloads Free
