Affiliate Marketing Suggestions

Hi All!
I have recently started to explore affiliate marketing and have already placed some adverts on the 3 sites in my signature.

Can you please advise whether these work, and if there is any particular strategy I should employ.

They definately work, they just need to be on the right site with the right niche, etc. A good strategy could be to stand behind the products you're promoting and tell your reads that they're good instead of just putting a link?

to success with affiliate marketing for a newbie there are two and unique strategies can work :
1- forget affiliate marketing and start promote your web sites, your goal is to get traffic to your web sites using: articles marketing, forum related to your topic (this forum is for people to share information about every thing about online business, where we can learn from many experts, there are many others forum related to your products and services), ezine advetising, links exchange......Then your goal is to convert this traffic to your merchants.
2- using pay per click advertising and drive traffic directly to your merchants websites (you can here use website just with one webpage which redirect traffic to your merchant website and it not necessary to promote this webpage because you will used the pay per click to get traffic for this webpage)
- don't use these two strategies you will have hard work to do and huge budget to promote.
- don't forget to modify your signature using in every forum a specific anchor text ( here look for BBCode)
