Default Redefining Personal Affiliate Support

Maybe it was the time I was inside of Denny’s and waited 20 minutes for a cup of coffee… Maybe I had a premonition when I couldn’t get a hold of anyone at the auto insurance office following a car accident… Whatever it was, at some point it made me stop and think about the importance of developing a personal relationship with my affiliates.
What do I keep hearing about the affiliate marketing industry, “Typically, twenty percent of your affiliates represent eighty percent of your revenue…?”
Now that I have been in the industry for a little while I can definitely see how that statement applies to most of our business. However, I am seeing certain trends with the other eighty percent. Let’s be honest… A new affiliate manager entering into this industry is confronted by certain obstacles that he/she must overcome in order to succeed. The biggest obstacle other than lack of knowledge for a new affiliate manager is the lack of a personal relationship with his/her affiliates, and that takes time to develop.
XY7 prides itself on just that… XY7.com takes the time to develop a personal relationship with ALL of its affiliates. To some affiliates, that personal relationship consists solely of a weekly email, to others, it’s an IM asking how things are going and how XY7 can help or it could even be a daily phone call with top converting offers. Ultimately, it’s the affiliate manager’s responsibility to figure out exactly what the definition of “personal affiliate support” is and apply it individually to each affiliate on the network. This kind of service is currently and will continue to be the key to turning that forgotten eighty percent into viable revenue producing affiliates. If you’re looking for a personable approach and accountability on the part of your affiliate manager, maybe it’s time you looked at XY7.com.
