Making Affiliate Products Unique

Once again this thread comes from a topic at Ecomxpo in which we talked a little bit about how do we as affiliates make our products unique. Let's face it. A lot of us are promoting the same exact products and this doesn't even include the merchant. So how far do you go to make the product unique whether it be changing the product names, adding custom descriptions or adding totally additional content.

Sorry I have not been here for a couple weeks. Was busy moving, nursing my carpal tunnel and my own forum is getting so busy I just can't get over here as much.
