Affiliation PITA
Does anyone else find affiliate programmes like DGM pro and TradeDoubler a right PITA to manage? With advertisers cropping up and dropping out, programmes being suspended and reactivated, specials coming and going!
So how do you keep on top of it all? Certainly if you have affiliate code snippets all over your site, you have to find and replace/amend them to reflect the changes.
Does anyone have any top tips on going about this? I currently use asp.net with an SQL db if that helps!
Right now I am almost at the point of dropping the lot and just using google adsense - tell me if I shouldn't, why I shouldn't and how to make my life a whole lot easier - please!
