Default Learning resource for new affiliate marketer

I'm not new to online marketing but very new to affiliate marketing. There is so many out their claiming that they have the secrets to riches. I know most of it is junk.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a quality ebook to help a newbie get started? The two books I've seen most are Rosalind Gardner’s book and James Martell's book. Their priced vastly different. Is Martell’s book that much better? If anyone has any opinions on these resources or any others I'd be thrilled to get to here.

Best,
John

Default Rosalind's Book

John-

I haven't read James Martell's book, so I can't give an opinion on it.

But, Rosalind's book is extremely helpful. She gives a great overview about how to drive traffic to your site via PPC. In addition, she gives a unique perspective on datafeeds...which can really help bulk up a legitimate content site.

Although it is slightly week in other web traffic areas, it is still a great guide on affiliate marketing.

Hope this helps...

mizambar,

Hey thanks for the insight. I'll probably give it a try.

They are both very good. Also check out www.affiliateclassroom.com which is more of a step-by-step training program. They have a $1 trial right now. Unlimited for 2 weeks. Go learn all you can and grab their free magazine too. Lots of great info.

Linda-

Thanks for the info on Affiliate Classroom...looks pretty promising. The niche market profile looks especially promising....
