Early Adopters Needed For New Photo Based Affiliate Program

World of Stock receives approx 3500 unique visitors per day and is well ranked in most major search engines and Alexa.

Our traditional business stream is from creative professionals who purchase image downloads from our library of over 35,000 high quality photos. We have a small but established base of customers who love us.

We recently introduced sales of Fine Art Prints in a wide range of sizes and finishes. Any of the images in our library can be ordered as a fine art print. The target customer for this is the end consumer who may be looking for some unique photographic prints to use in their home or office. We also offer a customized framing service in conjunction with a large, well known supplier.

In order to increase our presence on the web I have started to develop an affiliate program with the underlying use of the KISS (Keep it Simple Stupid)principle. I am looking for 10-15 early adopters who are willing to work with me to get this off the ground before expanding the program further. Heres how it would work;

- Qualified Affiliates can choose from several linking options including banners, text links and virtual stores.

- Virtual Stores can be any combination of images, hand picked or system generated to complement the affiliates website and can be set up as a stock photo store or a prints store, again depending on the affiliate sites typical visitors. This can be a few images, or thousands, organized by theme.

- I would automatically generate simple tables containing all the links and images and send it to the affiliate. This would include the affiliate id and could be easily integrated into an existing site design.

- Click throughs would be tracked and any sales within 14 days would be credited to the affiliate.

- Starting commision would be 15%, however this could be raised later based on performance up to a maximum of 25%. This should equate to an average commision per sale of between $10-30.

I would be looking for webmasters / site owners who are savvy at internet marketing and have sites in one of the following areas;

- Graphics and/or web design
- Advertising
- Fine Art
- Photography
- Home Decor
- Interior Design
- Others, if you can sell me on the connection. For example someone who specializes in travel information on a specific country or city may want to add a small gallery of photos from that area. We have lots of areas covered.

Thanks for sharing your new program with us. You have some REALLY strong affiliates right there in Vancouver like James Martell and many of his students, Ian Lee and some others. I was at a couple of big affiliate parties up there in Feb.

Just an update,

After a bit of a lackluster start and coming up the learning curve I'm increasing the commisions to a minimum of 25% up to a maximum of 40% based on monthly click-through sales. This seems to be more than competitive given similar sites out there.

Wev'e also developed a cool little tool for generating your own little storefronts ala art.com and others.
