New incentive for ACR LLC's affiliate program.
All of our affiliates will receive 15% commission on sale of our products.
Real-time tracking. Unique account/login. Checks cut every 30 days.
This is the hottest selling recipe software in Wal-Mart, with over 15 titles.
We are the parent company, so you aren't working with a middle man.
If you want to know how good this software is, take a trip to Wal-Mart, and go to the cooking section.
This software sells itself. But why not get your cut?!

I have been considering going with a different affiliate management program, other than what I currently use. I am using OScommerce right now, and it offers great features. But I would like a 3rd party affiliate management program like CommissionJunction. But CJ is awefully expensive, and I haven't heard great things about them.
Does anyone know of a comparible solution?
Also, does anyone here currently use CJ?

We've been using linkconnector ( www.linkconnector.com) and have been happy with the results. Seemed similar. They don't have as large of a network of affiliates yet, but their list is growing daily.
Their program has also had the benefit of better organic SERPs through their "Naked link" technology. Essentially, they have a direct link from the affiliate site (no redirect or tracking code) and they use some javascript / invisible images to track the sale.
Oh, and they also give you an $8 commission for each affiliate that signs up through your site and not by finding you on their site.
Brian.

You might check out linkshare.com They seem to be one of the better ones. At least for me they have. They always seem to be in the top 5 whenever I have looked or run across the source that rates them.
As for CJ, they changed hands. I forget who owns them now. They to were in the top 10 the last time I checked them out. Don't know now.

I have heard about this one also. Don't know that much about it. They also were listed in the top 10.

Yes http://www.myaffiliateprogram.com is considered the leader my most people and gets my #1 vote for lots of reasons. Especially since you can get in the Kolimbo network at N/C.

Sorry,
www.Kolimbo.com is an affiliate network that is owned by the same company. You can join it at N/C (free) if you have their MYAP software.

The only way to join them is to download there software? Why would one do that? Never heard of this before. What is the purpose that they make you download their software?

Linkshare, mentioned above is WAY expensive, like CJ.
The other great option is www.shareasale.com
It's a small network that is favored by lots of affiliates, only 150 set-up (instead of over $5,000 like the big boys charge.)

You have it backwards. IF you get their software (which you said looked good) then you get to be in their network at NO CHARGE! Most networks cost a lot to get into. This one is free to their customers.

I would agree that with many affiliate networks there is a costly barrier to get in. This is true for CJ and LinkShare - another thing to watch out with LinkShare is their exclusivity clause. Once you sign up, you have exiled your program soley to their network. I am big on trying different things and learning what works best for your product. Then, adjust your budget and efforts in that direction...
LinkConnector's network is cool in that there is no risk to try it. There are no set-up costs, no monthly minimum spends (another thing you should watch out for with CJ and some of the bigger guys) and no exclusivity clause. You can run LinkConnector and the other guys, and see what works for you.
I would definitely say to be thoughtful in making your selection so that you haven't tied yourself (financially or otherwise) into an unrewarding program.
