Would it be advisible to advertise our application through an affiliate directory service such as www. affiliate-announce.comor a similar service? Our goal is to reach e-merchants through the affiliate (directory) framework. We are a payment service provider (PSP) competing with the likes of Pay Pal, Hyper Wallet, Visa, MC, etc. We are looking to provide services to e-merchants, enabling their customers to use cash to purchase goods and services, where we are compensated based on completed cash transactions. Yes, you should definitely be listed in all appropriate directories (and directory categories) that will list your site.

You can never do wrong with listing your affiliate program in a directory. If nothing else, it's a good way to increase your organic placement in the SEs. However, don't expect an influx of active affiliates.
