I generally prefer to be an affiliate of Internet Marketing tools. I only endorse and promote the ones that I use or have used. Books are great too but I personally like to actually use something when it comes to marketing instead of reading about a way to do it.

I would put in a vote for tools. Especially since your website seems to indicate that's what your visitor demographics would look like. If you had a site dispensing medical advice it would be different.
