Hello everyone,
I'm Alex from the eBay.co.uk Affiliate programme and I have been a long time lurker on these boards and subscriber to webpronews. I know this is a bit of a long post but I want to introduce myself and our programme to these boards properly. Please be gentle with me, I have read the posting rules and am a newby to posting in forums :s We are really keen here at eBay.co.uk to get people interested in our affiliate program (in CJ.com) and communicate with our affiliates in everyway possible so if you are an affiliate and have questions about the programme then please do email or post messages and I'll try my best to respond. I have learnt a lot from the WebProNews articles down the years and my personal websites have benefitted no end from the advice. I am a long time publisher and CJ member myself (seperately to working for eBay). I launched my first website in 1997 ( http://www.paperairplanes.co.uk although it was hosted on Geocities back then ) plus I have experience using paid search to earn money from the eBay.co.uk programme. So I hope I bring a publisher perspective to the UK team. For all you affiliates out there who are looking for a good programme, we pay £6-£14 ($11-£25ish) per active registered user and £0.05-£0.12 ($0.09-$0.22ish) per Bid or Buy-it-now action. We encourage paid search advertisers and those who use networks as well as content sites and hopefully our range of tools should give you the opportunity to do really well with our programme. We work hard to exclude download programmes who steal your leads from our programme and are also working hard to police affiliates who bid on keyword eBay and so overwrite the cookies of hard working affiliates who obey our terms and conditions. Editor kit - allows you to post live eBay listings to your site. http://pages.ebay.co.uk/api/editorkit.html and we have a flexible destination tool http://pages.ebay.co.uk/affiliate/cjflexiblelink.html to allow affiliates to send visitors to any page of our site. Do sign up to our programme or contact me if you are interested https://signup.cj.com/member/branded...chantid=672817 Alex Schultz **ducks head below the parapet again while waiting for replies** |
