Or is it perhaps a multilevel?
http://jet99.com <<affiliate link snipped by Catalyst>> I am not sure how to classify it when I go to promote it to my list. And yes, that is an affiliate link there. Use it as is or strip it, either way, it is the question I am interested in here. It was promoted to me as an affiliate program, so I wanted to be sure myself before I promote it. I have no problem with either one, but it looks like it might be more of a network marketing program. Thanks for your input ahead of time. |

I didn't have time to look in detail but it sure feels more like MLM. No savvy affiliate program would list affiliate names.

"No savvy affiliate program would list affiliate names".
Catalyst, could you explain what you meant by this? Thanks Anthony. |

Hi Anthony,
Sure thing. Newbie affiliates may not know enough to mind, but seasoned affiliates are very private and secretive and don't want their names or sites mentioned. In fact some seriously resent it. We (managers) tend to think of affiliates as our "team" or at least I do. Kinda like when I used to be a sales manager. The difference is, these are all self employed business owners and they are all COMPETITORS. The successful ones don't want other affiliates to know what they are doing or even what programs they are in to protect their niche. They especially do not want others to know their sites for fear of site or idea copiers. Most of the top affiliates have been burned more than once and they have worked hard by trial and error to get where they are, so they don't want others to simply be able to copy what they have worked so hard to achieve, which is totally understandable. So even when publishing contest winners or top 10 affiliate checks or whatever in newsletters, I at the very most just use initials.

..and rightly so.
Thankyou for that explanation Catalyst. Regards Anthony. |

Whether it is an affiliate or not has become a moot point. I just discovered it is a major scam and the originator is being invesigated by the fbi and the ftc, so stay away.
Turns out it is neither an affiliate program or a multilevel. It is an airplane type money making scheme. Has no levels, and there are reports that it is in the process of being shut down. |

It's a program that I would not bother with. I really don't think it is an affiliate program.
