Default CJ and general Affiliate Advice

Dear Fellow Affiliate Marketers,
We've been online for about 18 months now, and have seen an increasing amount of sales. Although ours is a very seasonal business, natuarally concentating around the holiday season, we've been looking for ways to increase traffic during the offseason by creating online discounts and promotions to intice customers.
We've been with CJ for about a year, and it appears that it at the very least a break even venture, but not too hot outside of the before mentioned holiday season. What would you do? Should we consider other affiliate programs? Which do you think would work for our gourmet foods business? Any ideas on how to increase traffic/sales (we're all over PPC, and PPA with CJ)?
Also, if you know of a way to increase conversions of PPC - please let us know. What apps/tools work?
Thanks in advance for all you advice.
Best,

Hey David,

For PPC conversions, be sure to measure conversion to the point of each key phrase. This is the only way to kow exactly whcih phrase brought in the sale. This will help target your expenses to the appropriate keywords.

I would also try some organic SEO tactics. After you find out which keywods work for you in PPC, try and generate content with these phrases to try and get a high listing in the search engines. If successful, you will be bringing in free traffic that converts well.

I can't seem to see you site, server must be down at the moment. I would also run a newsletter o capture names and email address. Perfect for your discount marketing in slower months.

Good luck!

Regarding your site, it takes a long time to load, that can affect ppc conversions. Expand your keyword files to encompass everything you sell and every combination of phrases, I use www.digitalpoint.com. Click on keyword suggestion tool. I could give you more ideas for your site if you want.
