I have never thought about affiliate marketing before now.I wonder if someone could look at what I am offering and tell me if it has what it takes to offer my product as a affiliate? This is a new product that I am just starting to advertise and just built this site.http://www.logoluggagetag.com/
what I am offering may not work?
I would like to here from anyone before I go any further.

Here's my 2 cents for what it's worth.

It seems like you could have a very success full business. Especially since you are able to do such high quantities. Your products seem like nice premiums for various organizational promo's.

With that said I don't think affiliate marketing is the way to go. Some might argue to let the potential affiates make that desision. But I think your time would be better spent with 1 or 2 internet marketers that work with you face to face.

Here is a short list of things you need:

One or more professional websites. One dedicated to wholesale and the other retail for example. Your trying to get the people who sell to the people who have bothes at conventions as your customers. As well as direct to customers.

A print (gasp) catalog showing what you can do. Available on request.

Natural Search Engine Marketing.

I don't think PPC would be profitable and banners seem like a wast of time.

You might consider advertising in Outdoor's man type magazines. Make sure you have an 800 number for them to call in orders and cataloge requests. Make sure it's a different 800 number for each ad this way you can track what's working and what's not.

Finally diversify your product line. "Lugage Tags and Belt buckles" are nice but add like another 100 categories or more. This will give some depth to your offering and allow for some repeat business.

Good Luck,

-john

John you are right on the mark with how I should go forward.I did not think affiliate marketing would work for what I am offering but did want to ask others that know more than I.My plans are to make a offer to find some sales reps and see if they can do anything with it.I have a market in mind but I know others may have a better idea where and how to sell this.
Thanks for you thoughts
Jim
