Hi everyone,

Someone has asked me if I'd accept paid links on my website Go Green | Our Blog About Eco-friendly Business.

I've never gone in for paid links before. I expect his intentions are relatively sincere, he's probably just trying to improve the ranking of his website.

However it occurs to me that this would make a devious sabotage plot:

Buy text links to a competitors site making sure the no-follow attribute is not used. Report the site to Google for attempting to manipulate their search results.

Has anyone come accross this kind of sabotage attempt?

BTW, I'm not suggesting the person who has contacted me is attempting sabotage but it is entirely possible.

Any thoughts?
