Classified ad software/service

Hi--

I have a client who wants to sell classified ads on her site in a tightly niched horse market. Any recos for software/services that would automate that for her, including payment integration with Authorize.net and Paypal?

Yes - I have been playing with Xzero classifieds for the last few weeks. It is the best I have come across in the last few years.

Getting users to submit ads is not easy. I would highly recommend doing it without a script until you have established some horse classified traffic. Simply ask your users to email the ads to you, then gradually upgrade them to a submit form. The last thing you want is an empty data base.... far better to have a simple html page with three or four adverts . as the page fills then you can create another catagory.

Classifieds are not easy. But If you have a nice niche, It makes it a lot easier.
