We are running a blog on the Cricket World Cup 2007 in West Indies . The blog is receiving phenomenal response with around 1000 unique visitors per day and around 4000 hits per day. Its going to increase ten fold when the world cup actually starts in 3 days time.

We have displayed 6,924 google ad impressions in the past 7 days (the blog is seven days old.)

We are selling out text links really cheap. 20$ for the entire duration of the website (around 3 months) in the sidebar . For a links section above all the posts in the main content area the price is 40$ for a text link unit and 30$ below all the posts.

The dimensions of the link unit are as follows :

20$ , sidebar unit : 160px width ... 200 px height;
30$ , main unit (bottom of page) : 250px width, 150 px, height
40$, main unit (top of all posts) : 250px width, 150 px, height

The site is serving over 12000 google ad impressions per day. For those interested in a proof of this..reply to this thread. ill send you a snapshot..

The rates have also changed due to the heavy traffic that the website receives a day...

It is now 5$ a day for the top of the page..
$4 for an ad on the sidebar..

The dimensions of ad on sidebar are 200 x 300 pixels
for top : 420 x 190 pixels.
