remote access software suggestions??

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any good software, preferably FREE, that enables one to access a home computer from a lap top to perform regular tasks? The same as gotomypc only without the monthly payment.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My favourite is Remote Administrator (Radmin).

There's a free 7 day trial and a single license just costs $35

You can switch easily between simple file transfer to full control over a remote desktop. I occasionally use Remote Desktop for some clients, but I prefer the simplicity and speed of Radmin.

Radmin is pretty nice, that's for sure.

RealVNC fits your price range though just in case
