What are the important factors a developer or e-marketer should focus regarding website usability and accessibility? Can someone give me a list, please. Thanks,

- use ALT tags
- use CSS over tables if you can
- try to keep links opening in the same window
- make sure you don't have any dead links
- don't use bad color combos such as light text on light or flashy colors
- do a spell check
