Thanks Cyanide. I can't figure it out. Google sees the site and has obviously transited the pages within the site but when measuring back-links and (often) when trying to find it, Google doesn't show record of it. (then again, sometimes it does).
The same can be said of other search engines. The client has another site on that server and the same things are happening for it. (

Aside from hosting part of the site at another ISP and keeping the back-end at UK2 (ecommerce issues), I am not sure what to do at this point. Any suggestions as to what could be so strange about the site(s)?
