I had a similar dying computer recently, I too got the code for access okay, only to find Jasc don't offer the 'slight' 2mb upgrade, they had previously on thier site, which mean it's a little too basic for me to use as it is.
Trying Paint 8 - not too impressed so far...I've had to resort to MS paint to 'quickly' get the effects I want!
