Well, in reality this is really just a gimmick that almost no one will ever use anyway, but even still I couldn't imagine this service having any sort of impact on cybersquatting either way.
Let's be honest, is anyone really going to invest $1,000 upfront for 100 years of registration to cybersquat? Anyone can register a domain for 10 years with any registrar - and in internet time that might as well be 100 years.
The only benefit this could ever have to anyone would be to extremely large companies like Microsoft, who sometimes forget to renew some of their lesser used Domain names like passport.com.... ;)
Realistically, this service is pretty much useless to everyone else.
