Just out of interest, can you remember the HP model you used?

We had several HP85s - they were awesome for their time - we used them you gather data at high speed from position sensors on compressing machines.

We used to spend days calculating the linearity of these induction-based sensors so we could interpret the gathered data properly. Great fun.
