You forgot:
- dropping your punch cards containing your Fortran program on the floor en route from the car punch to the card reader and watching them scatter all over the floor as you remember that you had not taken the extra few minutes to number the cards and therefore cannot reassemble them in the auto-sorter
"CANDE" was Burroughs "Command and Edit" language, similar to IBM's CMS... it was kind of cool for its time...
