Default Why not make your own site?

Why put these items up on another website? Unless you are the merchant.

If you want to start in the affiliate marketing business, start thinking like an affiliate.

An affiliate for only one product only has one income stream. Unless it is a product that is consumed (used up) very frequently, you don't have much chance of sustained income.

I can't advise you on your business plan. There are many places that can do so. Just search for them.

If I wanted to promote this type of product, I would...

1. Select one of the target areas you suggest. Say, seniors.
2. I would select a subset of these. Say, Grandparents.
3. I would build a content site offering help, advice, services, tutorials, etc, directly aimed at grandparents.
4. For each section of the site (say, digital cameras) I would review available cameras, giving as much detail as possible. Show how to set them up, put in the memory, connect to the computer, and so on.
5. I would seek out merchants that offer affiliate programs for all things related to digital cameras. Select the best merchant programs, join several, and include text links within the related content.
6. Apply traffic.
7. Get inbound links.
8. Rinse and repeat for each topic covered in the website.

I'm not sure if that was what you had in mind when you made the post, but this is the way I would do it.
