I am not to keen on dark sites since they are hard to read and strain the eyes. I think it looks good but is not pleasing to the eyes. My site started out with a black background but I soon realized dark background = gloomy site.
Now the
http://www.rtfi.us/home.htm page I think Is great but again parts of the text blend with the backgroung a diffrent color text maybe or maybe my eyes are going from looking at this screen 14 hours a day.
I think instead of the pop ups for links like recipe book there should be a top nav bar in the frame it would even work if you put the 2 nav bars side by side I think just shrunk the windows havent realy tried it.
Each group does something diffrent Pictures just opens in same window but looses the main nav bar took a second to see C'mon Mabel! Nice Fish wow.
I think the nav structure (photo Galery) type inhttp://www.rtfi.us/pics_fishin.htm would work well in the frame the main pages are placed in.
Over all this is a very cool site and I have added it to my fav list great sounding recipies will try them. Good Luck
