I think the contest results will show no "real"
SEO skills by the contestants. Considering that the word "Nigritude Ultramarine" was basically non-existent previous to the contest, ranking number 1 for it can only show off your SPAM techniques and I think if you look at the current websites ranking for this term you will agree.
Creating a contest for an existing term with existing popularity will be a much more reputable way in displaying
SEO skills. I do agree that this was a great way to get publicity for Dark Blue.
