I agree that the best traffic comes from Google and Overture.
There is a free way to get traffic to your web site but the traffic sometimes is poor. There called AutoSurf web sites. I have used them on my
http://www.WallStreet.usand when I turn it off after using them the traffic does increase about 10 to 15%. Think of them as a banner ad so the web site needs to be easy to read, your domain name needs to be clear and easy to remember and the web site need to be fast down loading as many of the auto surf web site work on 15 to 30 seconds per web site view.
