Default Duplicates and Cloaking

Hi everybody,

I would like some opinions on some webmaster techniques used to gain high placement on popular tourism SERPS in my local region of South East Queensland, Australia (large tourist destination).

One particular company known as Info-link advertises the use of ip cloaking and doorway pages as a sound seo technique.

They have two duplicate sites in the same top 10 for 'gold coast accommodation'

And as an example, consider how could this doorway be no 1 for 'brisbane river cruises'??

I realise this requires some in depth analysis, but if you take the time to look at it, you realise it doesn't quite stack up.......

I realise there are genuine reasons for cloaking, however when completely unrelated SERPS start being exploited it starts to become apparant why the company is cloaking.

Opinions anyone ???
