There is something that is so insecure that it is good for some tasks. I write this post on my laptop with IE 8 and Opera 10 Beta.

If you open a new tab in Opera, it is instant. You have to wait seconds if you do the same in IE 8. In addition, I get the following message in the lower left corner:

"You seem to be on a slow network. Opera turbo speed is not enabled...."

You can enable / disable Opera Turbo Speed by clicking on the circular disk in the lower left browser window.

That comparison question always pops up when a (new) browser(s) is discussed.

And the security / efficiency model is a natural subject.
