For me I find the yellow text on white background to be bright and bothersome after a little bit of reading.
you might want to install the plugin
secure wordpress and also turn off directory indexing as seen at motelwebsitedesign.com.au/wp-includes/
For bookmarks I use "obsocialbookmarker" on a few of my sites and found it to be easy to use and edit. But their are many others out there.
