I agree heartily with Dave and amxfan. There is no more information here than on the link-farm in your signature. Get rid of the full screen pop-up ads, and take at least half of the other advertising off the page. Sorry, but even your domain name plants the seed that there is no real information on your site.

Most competent freelancers I know (those who at least own a copy of the Chicago Manual of Style, and have used it) aren't interested in links to sites to compete against $1/hr "copy writers".

Sorry, I understand that you're a "newbie", but I have a hard time imagining how what I see on your page can draw much traffic.
