We have established that he can see everything in FireFox (although I have experienced issues with pngs not displaying in FF recently).
And for the record using FF is not an upgrade - it is an alternative. He could just as easily use Opera or Safari both of which pick up faults that FF leave behind!
However, it is his IE8 that is causing the problem and I for one would like to know how to resolve it.
