I think the page linking to this page with 32 products is not too many. I would be more concerned about the page title, I think the 'more info page' title would be better something like John Deer Tractor Gift Box Knife to confirm/ match the link

your navigation is easy to follow. I do not think the size of the pages is a problem. the title of your image gives search engines a hint about page content http://www.peeknsave.com/knives_swor...kb20w2_med.jpg An image link worded like /winter-wolf-pack-gift-knife-jpg
would be more effective

I think you have the navigation basically about right. You basically need to funnel users and search engines to the "More info pages" you do that O.K. . . You do need to ad some finesse and style and a more compressed layout and save your users a bit of scrolling. Then just ad all and any original content you can lay your hands on to the 'More info pages'
