Odd.
I've just done a test, using both IE6 & FF3.0.8, both allowing & blocking all cookies, finding that I was able to move between ask.com & uk.ask.com with no problem.
However, once I'd visited askeeves.com, I couldn't get out of "jeeves" mode at ask.com
regardless of cookies under FF; and, under IE6, ask.com now hangs!
