I have a question on back links. It has come to my attention that a porn site has put a link to my site without my knowledge. I don't like the implications and am concerned about repercussions. Do I have any legal recourse? Is it illegal to one way link? Do you need permission? If people like porn, that's their business. I personally do not. I am afraid of guilt by association. HELP!
On another issue about linking. I submitted to a lot of free directories starting out. I submitted to a web ring recently which was very relevant to my products and got an E-mail informing me I wasn't accepted because I had links on my site to these directories and some had listings for multi level marketing, weight loss and adult sites. Are they just being puritanical? I didn't look at all the links in their directories. Who does? Should I? Is this just one puritanical person or will I lose standing listing in such directories?
