Personally I feel a good site doesn't need some stupid "award" to say it is good. If it is good then the visitors can see it is good. If you want to be able to say "Look at how good my site is, all these people think so" then use a guestbook. Web awards are for the insecure. The only "awards" worth displaying on your site are X/HTML and CSS validation awards from the W3C and/or watchfire bobby awards.
