The occasions on which I have come across domain parking are those in which I purchased a couple of domain names and web hosting for one of these names from the ISP.
Let's say I purchased www . domain_name . com and www . domain_name . co . uk.
I then mounted the website on the dot UK. The ISP package I purchased provided me the option to park dot uk so that anyone entering www . domain_name . co . uk into their browser is taken to the www . domain_name . com site.
