I usually like to reduce the size of my reports before I send them out as pdf's and usually it's the images that would bulk it up.

NOW THE IMAGE COMPRESSION
I insert the images in text boxes in MS-Word (so I can easily size them and position them + add a text description under the image and within the frame [text box]).
Then before I print to Adobe pdf, I click on the image to bring up format picture > then compress all images to 96dpi.
Then print using Adobe Pro.

If I'm just emailing the images as attachments, I use the reduce image size utility that's part of MS-Outlook.
