A .au domain name usually will not show up unless on an Australian host (I have seen the odd exception, but unusual)

fyi: I have a US host with a .com.au domain, and I show up on both Google Australia and global for "website hire". I had been told that .com.au would only show on Aussie pages, but that turned out to be wrong.
