I don't read NY Times, and I don't know much about that image. HOWEVER I did read about Google seriously building a space station.

I swear it was on MSNBC.com. I'm 99.999999% sure it was, because that's what I read at lunch today. And now I look, it's not there. So the only thing I can think of is it was taken down shortly after.

I'm very much into the space sciences, and an "amateur" astronomer. I'll check around and see if I can find out anything.
