You have to wonder how strict the guidelines really are on the black hat and white hat
SEO. I have seen websites that use nothing but black hat who still carry top ranking in their search results. Where I have seen people who do nothing but try to build quality back links go unchanged as well.
I think Google, Yahoo, and the others want us to think they are more on top of things than they really are.
